Hello!
My name is Karli Burns for starts. I am a proud mommy to a little girl named Rylee & a lucky wife to Eric. We live in Provo & have for all of our lives. We bought our own home in Provo two years ago & love it.
After a few years of doing collections, I have decided to start an in-home childcare & preschool to do what I love best. I keep a well maintained, safe & clean home. I am First Aid/CPR trained and have attended basic childcare classes. I have my food handlers permit & serve state approved meals. I have worked with children that have specials needs as a student aid & through care homes. I have been around children all of my life & feel that I have a special bond with them...that's why I do daycare!
**I am a State Licensed Daycare provider with the state of Utah. I have had my background checked & my house inspected VERY thoroughly. I accept State Childcare payments also. If you qualify I am more than willing to help you fill out the paperwork. :)

I teach preschool September-May on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays to children that are 3 until they take off to Kindergarten. I use curriculum provided by a program called Mother Goose Time which incorporates Language, Math, Science, Creative Development, Social-Emotional Development & Physical Development into each preschool day! Each month we have a certain letter, number, shape & color that we learn about.
I love kids & love to play like a kid which makes it good on my part & the child's! We have so many fun activities to do daily. One thing you'll learn quickly is I LOVE holidays!! Holidays are fun around our house! Think...Santa Claus visits, Snowman building, Trick-Or-Treating, Pumpkin carving, Thanksgiving feasts, Easter egg hunts & Valentine delivering!! We do a summer program which changes yearly but may include swimming, parks & outings...we may be an islander one day & a knight or princess the next!
The things I love most about children is watching them engaged and excited in the learning and discovery process, seeing them become independent little people (and how proud of themselves they are), and playing with....listening to....and learning from them.
